John Duggan is a unique blend of professions and cultures: he’s an architect/artist, and an American living in Italy for the last 30 years.  After completing a degree in architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, John chose to live and work in Italy.  He excels in the field of architectural renderings, and is a master of trompe l’oeil mural painting. Over the years he has filled numerous villas, hotels, restaurants and public buildings with his mural work.

 During the last three decades John Duggan has become a prominent name in the field of decorative arts.

His talents as an architect and painter have flourished in the design and execution of wall and ceiling murals.  Duggan has blended the centuries-old craft of trompe l’oeil painting (depicting three-dimensional images on flat surfaces) with his unique technical ability, producing beautiful decorative murals in both public spaces and private residences.
